Adult Ministries

Love God. Love Others. We strive to continually grow in both these ways, and find that happens best when we do it together.

We have opportunities for every level of engagement: from those simply needing parenting support to those wanting to explore Christian faith in a non-threatening environment. We have small groups, called Growth Groups, and classes for those who want to study the Bible and pray together as well as numerous ways you can serve both within the church and impact our community.

Get (Re) Connected to Your Faith and to a Faith Community:

Growth Groups are small groups intended to support you in your faith journey. Groups pray together, study the Bible, and care for one another through the up’s and down’s of life. We have groups consisting of young adults, multi-generational, women, men, young couples or families, parenting, etc. that meet on a variety of days and times. Group information is currently being updated and registration is open. To find a group for you, use our Group Finder and click on individual groups to learn more information or email the leader to express interest. Note: group information is still in flux so there may be additional groups added. Questions? Contact: Amy Rowell

We are pausing our annual rhythm of hosting Alpha at City Church in the fall until a later time. If you or someone you know is interested in exploring Christian faith by taking the Alpha course, you can find alternative locations in the Twin Cities by checking this Find An Alpha course. In addition, Hope Church in Richfield is a partner with us in Alpha and is also hosting Alpha Sundays 5 – 7 pm beginning Sept 26th. Contact Amy Rowell with questions.

Course Electives: Watch for updates throughout the year as to when we will host some of our usual offerings such as How To Read the Bible, The Marriage Course, and more. We want you to grow! We also know people have less bandwidth this year! Contact Amy Rowell with questions or suggestions.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is for moms of children aged newborn through pre-school (yes, moms with older siblings welcome!) Generally this program meets twice a month, Thursday mornings (childcare provided) or evenings. Planning for 2021 – 2022 MOPS is underway. MOPS will launch September 23, 2021. Registration information forthcoming. Co-Directors this year are Lindsey Froemming and Pamela Eklof. Contact Pamela for registration inquiries.SaveSave
